Long night......

Just can't sleep tonight!!

Stockholm weekend

We were in Stockholm this weekend. Why? Ananya and jai were doing their first performance from SITS. We arrived in stockholm for 1pm only to get refused from taxi drivers to take us to the hotel. "10 min walk" they said! Buggers... Luckily I worked at London City and remembered my rules. Taxi drivers are not allowed to refuse a paying customer!!! But then it is Sweden, the same rules may not apply!! Bit they did...yippeeeeee.....

Friday night Ananya and Jai had rehearsals and then we went to TGI Fridays. A long night. Early next morning the kids went back to rehearsals and we had a stroll to Gamlastan. Such beautiful buildings and history.
At 4 we were at Nalen Theatre and luckily I got front row seats and a perfect view to see my angels perform.

They were awesome. Brought tears to my eyes xxxx
The kids loved being part of the show they enjoyed every part of it.

The day ended with a lovely meal at Mandarin house.

Sunday morning started off with a lazy start watching Kung foo panda in Swedish in the hotel room then a stroll with Ananya. We joined the Belfields for bowling!! (although we were with them all weekend)!!!
2 hours window shopping McDonald's for lunch and finally to the train station.

We had too much to eat and enjoyed the celebrations of visakhi. Who said I was losing my culture??? Better come and show me!! Hehehehe xxx

Friday:today I went to a party.It was fun because we danced to the songs and played pool . Then we went home and I went to bed when I didn't want to go bed. On Sunday I am going to a wedding and it is very very very very fun .

Week in the GB..

Going back to visit family and friends. Started off with a very long day at work... Kids at school and then Ananya had her open day to her new secondary school. Finally made it to the airport.
What a journey... I had boots on and my feet ached. Leaving T5 just felt awkward... Not home, and the air smelled! Sorry xxx Lol
Drove to Leicester on Thursday morning. I just felt jet lagged! I slept on the way. The distance seemed forever long...It was a great weekend. I saw my family and friends. Louise you organised a great Easter egg hunt. Jo and angel, thank you for a great evening... Needed the laughter...
And then how quickly the time flew past... I briefly spent time with my family as I had to do other things. I never had a chance to say hello or bye to jag and sonia or saffron... And oat we never got a chance to speak!!! Oh well, that what happens in such short visits. Muss you khrishy, we will Skype soon... And hema, you have grown so much xxxxx
Back to reality now as we are back in Gothenburg... We had Eric over for a sleepover... Jai's friend, had a Easter egg hunt here too in the woods and I went to the Bible, theatre play. Rest time for a new start of the week... Thanks tina for the pictures x
