HELP......we are having too much fun!

An important part of our success in education is that we provide a secure environment for teaching and learning. We believe in discipline, the concept of “tough love” and we have high expectations for everyone. This is in stark contrast to the currently endorsed “feel good curriculum” in so many other places. We see the need to work hard and be ambitious in order to reap the rewards. Every member of our team is committed to placing high quality education first.
A school which experiences constant progress in learning, in an environment free of fear of bullying and violence, becomes a place filled with joy and good vibrations. At our International English Schools, we see student achievement as a shared responsibility involving the student, family, educator and community.
All of our schools employ the system of continuous assessment in all grades. Using this system, we ensure that we always know how each child is progressing and can avoid unpleasant surprises at the end of the school year. We provide formal feedback to students and parents four times per school year via conferences and end-of-term reports.  Naturally, we have a range of support mechanisms to help every student, covering both academic and social issues. An example of such support is the mentor teacher, who is given responsibility for each child and to whom parents are encouraged to turn with their questions.
Of course, there is nothing like seeing our school in action. We welcome you to come and see how we work.
Come and visit us on Saturday 26th November 2011, at kl10.00 where you will be greeted by myself, Ms Rothstien and our Assistant Principal, Mr Bailey.

Week leading to number 47

Ok that was a fair few weeks that no blogs have been written. Could it be because was the kids and I were fighting over who was to write it or could it be I was so busy that kept on forgetting? Hmmm, that I will leave up to you to decide.
It's now approaching the end of week 47. What that means is that does not leave long for Xmas.
Parminder has turned the big four oh! We did a surprise party for him. It could be a birthday he never forgets if he remembers it!!!
Amar, Swinder mum and of course khrishy came for the weekend. That was good. We missed them.
Ananya, Jai and I went to London for a week and the first thing we saw was mess, crowds of unhappy and miserable people.
What did I think of the UK? Definitely did not feel at home. I love being here, I enjoy the life, culture, society and the tram system- unlicensed transport is great!
It was very nice to see everyone.Well sort of everyone!! Missed some if you. Sorry.   :=)

Simce then I have been back, parminders birthday which we were all excited aboutx
His mum and dad were over for 2 weeks. I hoe they had a good time as we were  all out 5 days a week!
It was nice to have them over, made the house feel warm. They obviously missed home and the family and went back yesterday. It felt cold... Maybe it is the weather?
Now life is back to normal. It's starting to feel very Christmassy here. Love it. What else is new???? Nothing.
