So what has been happening???
Well, since our trip to Finland, we been to malmo, saw the Viking museum.. It was great. They had all oviking equipment, homes, shelters free for everyone to use and feel how the Vikings used to live.. There were people living in this Viking village. Amazing stuff.. We went to the tipof Southern Sweden. Great views.

We had Ethan and Rhiya over and we spent time doing stuff. We went to see Real Madrid football match, hmm I can't remember who they played with but it was an awesome match.. That was cool....I think holidays finish too quick.. I started work beginning of August and the kids school started.. My new role at work is of the IT coordinator. I look after the IT hardware and software at 2 schools.. It is a very busy role... It is not always technical, it can be give to find ways of ICT for teachers to make their teaching easier!i enjoy my new
Role as it's what I have been trained for.. I can confidently say"I know my stuff"!!
I am also helping the students with ICT.
I have been studying for google apps, to become a google trainer, however when I am home the last thing I look at is my gadgets!!
October half term was spent with my family and in Leicester with friends in the UK...  it was good.. Never laughed so much with Angel and Jo..saw Tina and co at the bagworth Halloween party...

Kids had a great time.. Good to see lily and Thomas still remembered Ananya and Jai xx.Nice to see all.. Kids had a great time in the national space center and meeting with Svea and Mika....I exercised hard- spinning 4 to 5 times a week... Most importantly, we had a new addition to our family.... Oreo the cat!! A cool and clever cat!!!
Clare keane had a gorgeous baby girl, welcome to the world Bridgette...
Then it was all about working hard until Christmas an in between we had  Diwali parties - I was cooking too much Indian food, proud of myself....Ananya's 13th birthday- yes she is officially a teen and taller than me!!

Good to go to all those Christmas parties at the Delany's and at the Davis'
New year was a good start celebrating with friends again.. .

Positive, strong and ambitious...so my outlook is to have positive attitude and positive friends... Positive outlook in life...smiles, smiles and more smiles!!
It is the year I turn 40 amongst other friends

Our long summer!

April - June
 Work work and work, graduation.
Work has been so busy and it was the end of the year. No excuses for no blog writing. Jai has had more time to write something, so now that he is 8 years old, he should!!
There was a graduation dance for the 9 th graders and a farewell. They looked awesome. So grown up and ready to face more challenges. Jai turned 8. It was a quickest and shortest party I ever held! Told his school friends on a Sunday and the party was on the Monday. In an hour and a half, with his friends over, Jai was the happiest little boy xx.
We also had a little house blessing from the gurudwara.  I had my mum and dad, amar, swinder, khrishy and cute Arun over and then parmys parents... It was busy!!
We went crab fishing. Great outdoors stuff here.
I forgot to mention I did the 10k walk, Ananya and Jai did the goteburgvarvet run, no cause, just because its popular here!!
July
This was the time when we bought liseberg's cards and spent most of July at the amusement park. The weather was awesome. Not only here, but also at the universeum. We could walk around these places with our eyes shut. What was nice that we could do this by ourselves and with friends. It was nice o meet up with them during the summer.
We did a trip to Helsinki, and Lahti, Finland. Helsinki is so pretty. We drove from Gothenburg to Stockholm and then caught a ferry.
I was very nervous.. I was thinking of the Zebrugge disaster.
But it was a good way of travelling.
Helsinki was great. Love the city. I think we all did. The  Kiiskinnen's were great hosts. Ananya disappeared with Jade and Niiki really looked after Jai.
Sara and Vesa, you guys rock!! Lahti seems really nice.
On our way back, we drove from Stockholm to Skane- near Malmo!
Funny how driving in the UK seemed daunting, but here, no problems.. Probably because the weather helped, the picturesque view and obviously no pile up holiday traffic!!
Skane was nice. It was hot. Parmy's friend was nice who let us stay over at his house. We went to the beach white sand and cold blue sea. I bought Ananya and Jai a beach ball and guess what, they lost it!! Typical!!
We went to the Viking museum. That was nice. Kids were allowed to touch the tools and play with Viking equipment.
We had a good time down south of Sweden. And it's only just over 3 hours drive!
On return to home we prepared for the the ones and only Ethan and Rhiya.
We were so excited to see them. W had an awesome time with them.. We visited Liseberg, again! We went to Naset beach and most importantly, we went to see PSG play friendly with Real Madrid at Ullevi.
It was a good match. I think all kids had a blast.. I know I did

Aug
Roll on August! Back to work. Nothing much happening now.. Apart from the kids do need to go back to school. Holidays are too long!!

April here it comes

Easter in Sweden is great. Culture is great. People are great.
Our nearest town centre, Molndal, is covered with colourful feathers everywhere. The sun is out and it feels like spring as finally arrived after a long drawn winter. It does get cold at night though!!
All it has been here is work, work and work!! I have been practising my Swedish. I don't feel too confident in speaking but I feel like I am doing pretty well!!
We met up with some friends in Stockholm, over Good Friday. It was so good to see Nikki, Daryl and Estrella! We did some great walking everywhere.
Nikki hope to keep in touch with you and come over to Gothenburg. It's warmer than Stockholm!!!!
On Easter Sunday, we walked into some woods to find dime hidden lakes. They were hidden very well!!! We got lost! Finally we found an frozen lake. It looked amazing. What was supposed to be an hour walk, turned out to be 3 hours!!
So today, when most people are back to work, we are relaxing!! Kids and I are, parminder cleaning the garage!! :)
